Model: Archer TBE400E
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello Everyone,

i have an iliadbox wifi 7 and i installed on my old desktop with w11 v.24H2 the TP-Link TBE400E PCIe wifi adapter.

Installation seems went fine, no unknows device from device manager.

I immediately tested it and it gave me 20mbps down but about 400mbps up.

I tried changing the card's setting '802.11be/ax/ac/n/abg' :

from

802.11be

to

802.11ax

and re-tested ... about 400 both UP and DOWN .

From proprieties of my connection, in both case ax and be, show a link speed of 2882 / 2882 Mbps.

What am i doing wrong? how do i use the BE protocol without scaling on the AX?

Thanks

R.

I have same issue with  TXE70UH adapter wifi speed is very slow.
If you check your wireless adapter details you will see connection your connection wifi 5 only instead of wifi 6 or wifi 7.

Driver uninstall / reinstall not gonna solve the problem.
Just reinstall or rollback 23H2 and everything will be fine you will get the correct wifi speed. Forget it that problematic Windows 11 24H2...
I already did the rollback to 23H2 and blocked 24H2 update.
