Hi there,

I am about to purchasea mesh TP-Link solution, but before I do I'd like to check something.

We have fibre broadband that is connected in the front of the house.  There are some deadspots including the breakfast room the otherside of the kitchen.  I'd like to get a Mesh system to cover these deadspots. Then in the garden I have built an office and there is an Cat6 (?) cable running from the brakfast room to the office.  Can I put a node in the breakfast room and plug the cable into that node then a further node plugged in at the other end in the office?  The node in the breakfast room won't be connected via a cable to the main node at the router.

You can connect Satellite Deco nodes to each other with Ethernet cable. For that to work without any possible issues, Satellite Deco in garden office should be far enough from Main Deco to not be able to connect to Main Deco over WiFi.

Otherwise, you'll have two Satellite Deco linked to each other with Ethernet cable, one must connect wirelessly to Main Deco and if both can, with Deco you can't control which one will.
