I'm having the same issue, weekly red light issue on 1.17, on v2 it's a daily thing.
Noticed on v2 it reboots itself when this happens
But v1.17 it just freezes and needs to be powered down and back up again
This is with three uk as the provider
Tried cell lock, with no real difference for me.
Kind regards
Adam

Hi @David-TP ,
My router has been freezing lately, I had the last version, updated to this beta, and in both cases it hangs when some amount of load is running. It can happen during downloads, upgrading OS, torrenting (all tested in separated moments).
Some times it takes minutes to hang, and the only workaround is to reboot the router.
The CPU is often at 100%.
I now forced the 4G only connection, it hangs less times, but still does. At a substantial decrease in speed (75% less).
Before I was using another 5G router from Acer, and it never had this issues.
Are you working on fixing the firmware/device stability? Or should I request a refund for the router?
Thanks!

Hi David,
to be honest I'm really scared about the trouble management with the currently published beta and the official software as well.
You receive a lot of feedback that both softwares are very buggy and there is still no fix available.
Like a lot of other people I'm affected by the reboot issue of the X50 5G as well. Today it was five times till now.
You should really focus on a firmware fix instead of recommending a firmware recovery and provide a new (less buggy) firmware asap.

David
Hi, welcome to the community. It was what I did in the beginning. Later I realized the new firmware progress took longer than I expected. A quick solution to revert to the official 1.1.5/1.1.7 was a necessity. The engineers are still working on an official firmware fix and I will keep the community updated once there is further news.
For the issue you have suffered, I wish you could refer to this link to submit an email to us:

Thank you very much and best regards.

@David_Alex all the new firmware's do is add extra features which you dont really need, roll back to 1.15 an turn off auto update, it has all the features you need - cell lock being the main 1
