Hello,

I just set up my Archer C7 and now have problems accesing the USB-FTP-server via internet.
Its already possible to access the server from the local network(192.168...), but when I try to access via internet the connection times out.
I made a test on: https://ftptest.net/ - this is the result:

I had the same problem, and managed to find a work around, although it isn't a nice one.

Disable 'Internet Access' at the FTP server settings, save it, then enable it again and save again.
You can now access the drive from anywhere, though it doesn't continue to work--after a while you have to use this fix again.

If anyone know a real fix, I'd like to hear it too.

To Malte &staavmixer , is it caused by update of WAN IP or something else? Did you use ftp://wan IP to access it remotely?
It always works locally, right?

Mavis, yes, it always works locally. I don't think it's due to a IP update: after disabling and enabling internet access again, remote connecting works using the same non-local IP as before. I use an FTP application to access it, which has always worked.

Next when you cannot access it using FTP application, try ftp://WAN IP.
