I have a HDD connected to my Archer C7 router and I can connect via FTP Client and upload/download stuff. But I got alot of movies I want to see directly on my Mac without having to download it every time. Is there anyway to do this? I´m a new user to Mac so I have no clue how to do it.

You are not using USB sharing function, right? What kinds of FTP client? Maybe Mac has some application can be used in your case. Try to contact Apple and find some clues.
