Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 1.20

ISP : Virgin

HI there, used this extender quite happily with my older super-hub 1 from virgin. Swapped sh1 for sh2 and now once the setup-wizard on the extender has completed i get internet access for about 2 minutes then local access only, from both the extender AND the superhub 2. As soon as i switch the extender off, the internet comes back up again. I've emailed Virgin as well as I think its the superhub playing silly-buggers but can anyone think of anything i can check on the extender??
many thanks
D

Check firmware version of your WA850RE and ensure it is the latest version, otherwise, upgrade its firmware.

Reconfigure the range extender. But if the problem continues, check status of all lights. Provide screenshot of status page and the system log.

Many thanks

Hi
I have exactly the same problem with the Superhub 2, but I am confused (doesn't take much). The instructions to upgrade firmware says to check the Version number and says it is the number before the decimal point. ie V1.1 is Ver 1. However, when I log into the WA850 it says the hardware version is 1.2 00000000, even though the label says 1.22, so I take this to be a Version 1. I have had the device since November 2013 and the Firmware version is 3.14.8 Build 130622 Rel 81738n. The updates on TP-Link download section are not explicit enough to show which and if I should upgrade. Please can anyone help, as I want to resolve this issue, but don't want to brick the device either!

Resolved:
Found a previous thread that said download TL-WA850RE(EU)_V1_140826 firmware is the latest for this version WA850. Installed it, and it has now fixed the problem and is working a treat.
