Random disconnects
Hey all
Anyone else seeing random disconnects? I run my router via LAN from a Virgin Hub 5x. The Hub itself works fine, WiFi and Ethernet stay solid during these dropouts, so it is not that
The blackouts are totally random and they only started after updating to firmware 1.2.1. I have factory reset and reinstalled the firmware with no luck
Any one have any ideas on what is going on?

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:
Virgin hub—BE550)))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
The ' blackouts' that you mentioned, does it mean the unstable connectivity on the BE550? Or is the BE550 power off?
Have you tried a different cable or a different LAN port of the Virgin Hub? If there is a switch between the hub and BE550, please remove it and test the connectivity on the BE550 again.

Hey Joseph thank you for the warm welcome, yes that's how my network looks, sorry I was vague before by blackouts I mean the tp link router disconnects from the virgin media router.
I will try a new cable this evening and hopefully that fixes it, I used the one that came with the router itself.
