Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version: ?

I’ve been dealing with random network drops that disconnect my Wi-Fi devices and interrupt my wired PC connection. I traced the issue back to my wireless repeater/extender.

My setup is: Main Router > Access Point > Extender (connected wirelessly to the AP).

I noticed a mismatch: the main router’s client list shows the extender at 192.168.1.231, but the Access Point's status page shows it using a completely different IP address, which seems to be causing an IP conflict. Is there a way to fix this without forcing the extender to connect directly to the main router?

Hi,

The first thing I would check is that the WA850RE V7 is running firmware version 1.0.13 or higher. Firmware versions before 1.0.13 had issues.

If the above is fine, then you could try whether assigning the IP information manually to the WA850RE solves the problem. In the web GUI that would be done under "Settings" -> "Network" -> "LAN Settings".
