I am a big fan of TP link and I bought smart plugs from Amazon.com (which have shipped to Thailand)

Unfortunately, I pluged HS300 and “pop” sound happened.

It has been damaged by 220v, then I realized all of them might design for 110v only but I would like to confirm with you for below models that I bought.

HS105

HS107

KP200

(I bought 2 of HS300 and one has been damaged by 220v)

Please help confirm that which one can be used on 220v. Thanks

Smart Plug HS105 on 220v
2021-06-01 03:40:37

@Kevin_Z Buy in the US the Smart plug HS105. I live in Peru and the voltage is 220V But in the specifications it says that it only accepts voltage from 110 to 120 V.

Could you confirm that information for me?

Can I use it in 220V voltage?

I wait your answer thank you.

@Poding2000 Do you have had a problem with the HS105 (US) model with the voltage 220V?

I have an HS105 and my voltage is 220V and I am not sure if to use it

@gluisgarate31

As reply from Kevin, HS105 (HS107,KP200) had been designed for dual voltage. It works like a charm for me

@Poding2000

Perfect, I will start using it at 220V. No more need to connect to a voltage transformer

Do you know why in the specifications it says 110 to 120 and not 110 to 240V?

@gluisgarate31

Table that Kelvin provided has 2 rows. Looking on the top row you will see 100-240.
