Model: KC110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: ??

Hello,

Just purchased a KC110 camera( in Spain ) on vacation.

Went home to Norway with the camera.

Downloaded the "Kasa App" on Iphone with the latest OS.

Did the registration.

I´m now trying to setup the camera, with no luck.

Camera is blinking Green/orange.

I connect with Wifi ( same network as phone )

Enter the wifi password.

Starts blinking green, then red and green again.

Then everything stops and the app goes to timeout.

Tried on several Iphones, a Ipad and a Samsung S9.

Same thing happening on all units....

Am I doing something wrong???

Btw : have also tried to register a account with the location in Spain and one in Norway.

Hi,

Got it to work now, atleast for me.

In the setup of the camera app.

You choose the wifi network you want the camera to use.

Enter the password for the Wifi network.

Quickly change to the below menu.

On Iphone in the settings menu/ wifi networks make sure it chooses the same network once it disconects from the camera network.

I have both 2,4Ghz & 5Ghz.

It always tries the 5Ghz first( does not matter if you where on the 2,4Ghz)

If you watch this you can quickly change over to 2,4Ghz and it works.

This took some tries to figure this out.

Happy now & hope this can help others :)

@Natroxz

Try to move it closer to the main router to set it up.

And you can adjust the wireless settings of the main router, like the wireless channel.

Try to hard reset by holding the reset hole for 15s with the camera powered on.

Still the same, please tell us the mac address of the camera and your cloud account.

Note: You can message me directly.

Besides, if possible, you can show us a picture where you get stuck.

Good day.

Thanks for your reply.

We released a new version for the kasa app, try to update the Kasa app or uninstall and reinstall it to give it a go.

Still the same we can do further analysis via email later.

Good day.
