Model: HS110
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.0.4

I purchased two HS110’s both of which seem to be faulty. Both devices give me 0.00w readings from emeter. I tested both Android and iOS applications with the same problem, however Android displayed and toast NumberFormatException integer error of 4294967295.

I called the company doing technical support in Hong Kong and they told me that their device is working just fine. I factory restarted both devices with the same problem

I managed to use unsupported API’s and obtain the direct value readings from the device, surprisingly both plugs are giving out crazy readings of 970801mv and 291751ma, but matched the error I received on my Android device.

I’m bringing them to be “tested” by the contractors in Hong Kong tomorrow but I hope this helps anyone else having this issue.

@JR852

I am on the same firmware and hard ware version and I have exactly the same issue.  I have an older HS110 which does not have the issue.

I raised a support ticket for it.

Fortunately, I only bought it two weeks ago from Amazon, so if I do not get a reply/solution back soon from TPLink, it will be returned and I will be looking for an alternative.

Hello, I have exactly the same issue here with brand new hs110(FR) plug (hw v2.0 and firmware v1.5.5)

@Rom11 I returned mine to Amazon. Got Gosund mini-plugs instead. 4 for the price of 1 TP-LINK.  And they provide proper energy information.

I still have one working TP-LINK on older firmware.
