Model: KL130
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.11

Hi,

As the title says my new KL130 bulb (that replaced a faulty LB130) flashes blue very quickly upon turning it off. Is this normal? It's a bit like a lightning flash and very annoying. Any ideas? Thanks!

@Badjester my bulbs all do this, so whilst I agree it's a little annoying, I don't think it's anything to be concerned about in terms of being a fault.

It would be good to hear if TP-Link can fix this with a firmware update.

@CX23882  Ah ok, I jumped a bit when I turned the light off for the first time last night lol. It's like a flash of electricty in the dark!

@Badjester yeah it caught me by surprise the first time I noticed it too, especially since it's a similar colour to an arc. But I think it's caused by the blue element of the LED being powered off last for some reason, especially when it's set to a cool white.

@Will2010T  it's only a slight thing but it's annoying to get used to. Maybe it's just me as I have a bad fear of electricity due to an electric shock when I was younger. So the first time it flashed I nearly had kittens lol.
