Bought a Tapo C200 yesterday and having issues with the SD-card.

It is a SanDisk SDHC 64gb card which I have formated in my computer.

It is in FAT32.

This card have worked fine with my gopro and other cameras. Works fine when put in to a computer.

But when I install it to the C200 and press, format the card, I get an error after about 30-40 seconds.

"Could not format card"

And the app says that I need to initiate the card before it can work.

When I then put the card in to my computer I have multiple videos from the camera, but none of them work to view.

The files take up the whole capacity of the card, and the card has only been in the camera for about 5 minutes.

What should I do about this.

And is there anyway to set the camera to record only when detecting motion?

@JockeSunden  Hello,

1. For failed to format Error, please help verify if SD card is Fake (expanded capacity) with H2testw software and share a photo with us, thank you

2.  You could find SD card is filled with files named as xxxxxxxx_000000_tp00001.mp4, xxxxxxxx_000000_tp00002.mp4, these are empty files reserved for the subsequent file to write. Here is a related FAQ:  How can I view the video recordings of camera from the SD card on a computer?

3. On Camera Recording settings,  you have 1. Continuous Recording (Blue option) 2. Motion Detection Recording (Orange option),  select ' Motion Detection' and 'Select All' f you only want to record motions in SD card,  please check step 8 in this FAQ for details:
