New Samsung A53 can't connect stable to Wifi on Deco X60, connection keeps dropping
I bought a replacement phone for my Samsung Galaxy S8, the new Galaxy A53 5G. Already out of the box performing the installation I couldn't get a connection to my Wifi Mesh network (Deco X60). Once in a while it did actually connect but not for long and when disconnected it often coulnd't reconnect again. After being very patient I finally made it through the whole setup process, but the connections still dropped.
On my S8 (still works fine apart from battery life) I have no problems at all. Also my wife's phone (S9) and my 4 daughters (S8 and 3 diffferent Iphones) experience no problems with the wifi whatsoever. All the other objects (Smart-tv, e-reader, Chromecasts, etc) work fine as do my work-laptop and my wife's. We've got the Deco X60 Mesh network running since august 2021.
Of course I tried to find out what it could be, so I ran a lot of tests, trying ever 'switch' in the settings. Because I thought my new phone was the problem I even reset it to factory default and reran the whole setup again, but still the same problem. Eventually I set up a second wifi-network with my old router and to my surprise I had no problems connecting to that wifi at all. The new A53 isn't the problem, its wifi works fine and fast (run several tests) but the connection to my Deco X60 is the problem.
I've posted this same problem on the Samsung Members forum, and a guy told me to post my problem here for he has had the exact same problem and an alternative Firmware version was the solution for him. So hopefully it will work for me to. Where can I get such alternative firmware?

Same issue here as well with the A53 and the DECO X 60 5 GHz connection. Turning off 5 GHz helps resolve the problem, but is not a preferred long term solution.

I'm also having having similar issue with my new Samsung A53. I tried connecting to other WiFi routers that I setup for testing and connections were fine. It's the Deco X60s that are not working. Please look into this. Thanks.
1. The model number and hardware version/firmware version, such as Deco X60-V2-1.5.1.
I have 3x Deco X60 running in AP mode using FW 1.5.1 Build 20210204 Rel. 50164.
2. Do you have any other Samsung devices and are they working well with Deco?
Yes we have multiple Samsung Note 10+ that works well with the current WiFi network.
3. Does the above suggestion of separate SSIDs work or not?
I can't disable 2.4GHz network as I have multiple devices that are on 2.4GHz.
4. Whether there is a MacBook available in the network.
I do have a couple of MacBook but they were not connected when my Samsung A53 keeps on dropping connection or reporting unable to connect to WiFi.
P.S. turning off the mesh connection for the phone does not work too.

Hi I have 2 Deco M5 and i update theme a few days ago.
The very first day of the update i cant connect to the deco with my A53 until i reboot everything several times, forget the network on wifi settings and disabling fast roaming.
Now i can connect very well but i experience a none stable connection, when im trying to run a speedtest via wifi (a53) it lasts almost 1minute to run the test(freeze on connecting), with other phones and laptops it runs instantly, once the test is over i experience half of the speed or less. (sometimes i have a good download speed on test but the internet connection in simple tasks as watch a video it's slow)
I also experience WiFi connection without internet randomly a few times a day, so i turn off WiFi on A53 and turn on again so i can have internet again.
I started to experience problems since I update my decos to the new firmware.
1. The model number and hardware version/firmware version, such as Deco X60-V2-1.5.1.

2. What is the software information(Android version and One UI version) of your Samsung A53, such as
One UI:4.1
Android: 12
3. Do you have any other Samsung devices and are they working well with Deco?
Yes
4. Does the above suggestion of separate SSIDs work or not?
Same exact problem
5. Whether there is a MacBook available in the network.

Hi! I have exactly the same issue with my new Galaxy A53 and my Deco X60.
Deco X60 firmware: V2, 1.5.1, build 20210204, Rel. 50164
Samsung Galaxy A53: OneUI 4.1, Android 12
We also have Samsung Galaxy S10 and S20 FE 5G which both work flawlessly with Deco X60. Also many other devices connected to Deco with no problems.
