I am replacing a Swann CCTV with Tapo, Swann was OK, but the software was fiddly if probably more secure than the TP-Link. the Tapo power lead is too short to get through the attic to the facia, as was the Swann

That Swann needed an extension as well, but came with one. I've read that TP-Link don't do them and I want to double check what seems to be compatible wiring, as the Tapo lead fits the Swann cable. I haven't finished running all the other bits so I can't try by turning it on yet!

I do feel it's quite likely to be fine, esp at the Tapo voltage is lower than the Swann, but it can pay to ask even if the answer may be blindingly to you!
