Firmware Version: 1.1.14

In line with wanting to have cameras to overlook my property, I recently started logging the traffic on my network to overlook what my devices are doing. This has been very instructive and I have one question about my Tapo C100 cameras (I have four of them): Why do the Tapo C100 Cameras make over 100 000 requests per 24h?

The image below shows the outgoing traffic for my four Tapo cameras:

What is going on here?

  @WildWombat

In my opinion, the behavior could mean the camera was trying to access some cloud services or some services all the time, the camera is buit for standalone but trying to access the internet. all the time.

Did you setup any whitelist or restrain the camera accessing the network?

@Little_C, the cameras are on a VLAN with no access to the Internet. (I don't want to use TP-Link's Cloud functionality, so there's no need for the cameras to reach outside my network.) I have redirected NTP and DNS to my firewall, so those things should be fixed as well. This is insane.
