Tapo C320WS - Option for Video quality /compression

***Please click "VOTE" button at Upper-Left of window for Tapo to finally consider this***
Hi TP Link / Tapo,
In relation to issue I've posted on Low video quality, maybe we can also Add Option for user to select the Overall video quality or Bitrate they want - indicating the possible implication on their storage.
This way those have 128gb or 256gb could select Highest possible Video quality as they have enough room for high bitrate / low compress video. Avoiding the issue of overly compressed / pixelated video currently that barely useful to identify person face at all.
Alternatively, not sure if we can look for way to utilize H.265 video format - I believe this could hardware related but better to check as this format is a lot storage efficient than current H.264. Utilizing this will help us achieve same file size but higher quality / bitrate overall.

I wish I had done more research before buying and installing my C520WS. Never in a million years had I thought that a 1440p camera would be streaming with ~2.5 Mbps bit rate. That is half of the minimum requirement recommended for that resolution. I also went back and read the data sheet and specifications and nowhere does it mention this.

Just bought C320WS. This amount of compression artifacts (blockiness) is for 20 dollar cameras, not this range. Increase bitrate or allow user to specify. Stream1 & 2 didn't even break 1mbit/sec which is pathetic and turns 2K into 720p.
" 2K QHD-Records every image in crystal-clear 2560x1440 definition."
That's a blatant lie and TP-Link should be ashamed for writing it.
I'm returning this camera and not purchasing any from TP-Link until they address user bitrate selectivity.

well I have been subscribed to this thread for many years, and It looks like tp-link has ignored the users request for adjustable bitrate option, even one of the most requested features in the feature requests section, so I just want everyone to know I will no longer purchase any tp-link product in the future, for a decent camera I suggest amcrest cameras, they are rock stable and fully customizable, one is still going for 8 years, IR still works and withstands harsh winters, perfectly stable wifi as-well.
