Tapo is a Chinese company. I am wondering why they do not accept third party clouds. Is it a security issue? Are they forced by the Chinese government to accept only their own cloud? What happens with the data? Do they give them to the Chinese government?

Actually it does not make sense to store data on an storage card. Every user seems to be forced to send the data to the Chinese government. Nobody seems to think about it.
