I'm looking at getting an external battery powered wifi camera (no suitable route to power!) but because of the location accessing it to recharge the battery will be a pain. I'd like to trickle charge the battery from a small solar panel instead.

 

Do any of the Tapo cameras support this, or have built-in solar panels? I see similar non-Tapo brand cameras do but I'm already hooked into the Tapo ecosystem so would prefer to stay with that brand!

Unfortunately, Tapo camera currently does not support solar system products, nor does it support solar charging.

 

That's a great product suggestion though, we will definitely record and pass it to the team for evaluation.
