In the actual version, we can enable up to 5 privacy zones on a camera to mask part of image. But, these zones can only be a square/rectangle.
Could be very great to allow any polygon, so the zone are smooth and more accurate. Rough example with one of my camera below.
Now (4 differents rectangle zone to cover neighboor's garden) :
Expected (only one zone with a big polygon) :

Definitely agree with this - doesnt make sense why the detection zones can be setup precisely yet the privacy zones cant. (part working around the issue as have connected my C720 to Synology Surveillance Station for recording and that is much better with the privacy areas)

Same as raised concern. Privacy zone creation n needs freedom to apply polygons (trapezoids) like detection zone creation.

@Solla-topee anythin new on this feature? It really should be implemented since it is more or less required to use the cameras gdpr compliant. The 4 rectangular privacy zones are not enough to black out public property that runs diagonally through the frame.
