Support ONVIF and/or RTSP protocols on C420 S or via the Hub 200
Support ONVIF and/or RTSP protocols on C420 S, so other apps can work with the C420. (Or, via the Hub 200.) The Tapo iOS iPhone app needs work. Cameras are nice.

Yes please, I got solar panels you sell for these cameras, so battery won't be an issue.

This site (https://www.tapo.com/en/faq/34/) lists OnVif for the C420. Now I find out that the C420 does not support it. However, this was the reason for the purchase. So the cameras go back to the dealer.

@onno2 +1
I, too, thought it was already supported on th eC420. It's lame that it isn't.

@onno2 I think the Tapo C420 uses Sub-GHz communication so it won't support ONVIF, also if the camera supports ONVIF, it will affect the battery life because it will need to keep working while you are watching the live view through ONVIF.
And there's an upcoming camera called Tapo C425, it doesn't require hub, works with Wi-Fi and supports ONVIF.

This feature is really needed. I have connected the camera to a permanent power source so the reasoning behind not giving this option does not apply any more.
