Support ONVIF and/or RTSP protocols on C420 S or via the Hub 200
Support ONVIF and/or RTSP protocols on C420 S, so other apps can work with the C420. (Or, via the Hub 200.) The Tapo iOS iPhone app needs work. Cameras are nice.

Here is a feature request to integrate battery camera streams on Home Assisant : https://github.com/JurajNyiri/HomeAssistant-Tapo-Control/issues/507

+1 to add back support for ONVIF/RTSP.
I bought the solar charger bundle to help with battery life, and I'm more than willing to manage any shortfall from streaming too often.
Thank you,
Cragen

Ok, this thread is sort of old. Has this feature been implemented on the C420 or the H200?

So I understand that TP-LINK will not implement RTSP on those new battery powered cameras.
Too bad, I like their products a lot, but I will build my home security on another brand's platform.
RTSP/ONVIF is the way to go to secure and access information.
Sorry !

same for me. The camera is useless in a nice home integration without any means to access the live view (using other devices in Home Assistant via TAPO integration and ONVIF...)

@onno2 Just bought C425 and C460 only to now discover that solar cameras (Battery) can't be viewed on PC
You realy need to develop a PC app, but at least enable RTSP, pronto
in the meantime I am planning to return both cameras and look for ones that can be viewed
