Model: Tapo C310
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

I'm setting up my new C310 and I see all the parts to waterproof around the ethernet cable, but I'm not using ethernet. I'm using WiFi. I can't find a cap anywhere to just cap off the ethernet port. Are we supposed to just leave it exposed if no ethernet cable is connected?

Maybe another way to frame this is: how have other people handled this? Or is everybody using ethernet?

Thanks,

Hi EricDP, I made a dummy cable piece for this purpose cutting some 4cm of network cable and sealing the cable end by melting the cable shield. Then I installed it using the parts provided. I agree that offering us the cap would have been nice.
