I bought the new D230S1 doorbell on the tp link early bird promotion. I've been waiting a while for this to release. It seems to be faulty as it doesn't ping my phone when doorbell pressed, it's not picking up any activity unless you're literall right in front of it up close and the sensor on the front looks really scratches and seems to have a hairline crack in it.

I've been in touch about getting it returned and replaced but tp link just keep telling me to register it first so the RMA can then proceed.

Problem is the registration system just doesn't recognise the serial number of either the complete boxed unit, or just the doorbell unit.

I'm literally just being passed from one person to the next and they all keep telling me to register it. 

I cannot register it. Anyone any ideas. It's getting ridiculous now
