Solution Solution to ER605 V2 2.2.0 May Cause OpenVPN Failure With "Common errors for VPN policies" [Closed]
This Article Applies to:
ER605_V2_2.2.0 Build 20230629
Issue Description/Phenomenon:
Recently we received feedback regarding the OpenVPN failure issue after the new firmware upgrade of ER605 V2 2.2.0 Build 20230629. Before the firmware upgrade, the existing OpenVPN Server(s) configured on ER605 v2 via the Omada Controller are working properly. After the firmware upgrade, OpenVPN stopped working, when trying to delete the exsiting configuration or attempting to re-create new ones, the controller may pop up with the error of "Common errors for VPN policies".
Note that the issue only occurred with ER605 V2 in Controller mode, that is, the issue does not exist with the ER605 V2 in Standalone mode.
