I have invested in 18 Tapo devices including 5 external cameras.  I have just upgraded my Broadband. I was able to update the Router on Homebase H500 without any problem.  It apears that on the other 17 devices I have to remove them and then add them back. To make it worse I also loose the settings on each device.  This seems to be unique to Tapo and Kasa (Both TP-Link) devices. Surely this is utter maddness.  I hope TP-Link can get this sorted.

  @Home_Cameras This has to be an April Fool's joke... but no. When I read through the comment section, it's a common problem for your customers. I feel obligated to inform future customers by adding warnings in the review section of every account at my disposal—well, only for Switzerland, but ignoring this for more than 2.5 years is unacceptable.

It's silly I moved from Wyze, because you guys support the whole RTSP, now Wyze Beta Firmware has both that and you can change your wifi info... Same hardware too, You guys need to stay ahead of the game not behind it. 

Clearly someone in management is not getting this message to the actual developers because I know for a fact if the Devs knew the passion of people wanting this feature it be out in days not years.
