I'm hoping to install an outside sensor that will allow me to automatically turn on a set of lights down a dark garden path. Anyone tried anything similar? What success did you have?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Tapo T100 motion sensor is not waterproof and cannot be installed in fully exposed outdoor environments. We recommend selecting a sheltered area to avoid potential damage from heavy rainwater exposure.

Your needs can be simply achieved by creating an automation rule with Tapo motion sensor and Tapo smart lighting device.
