Seeking doorbell advice
Hi there, everyone! I am seeking the advice of people who are more knowledgable about the TP-Link ecosystem than I am regarding the purchase of a doorbell camera. In a perfect world I would get a Tapo doorbell to go with all my other Tapo cat cameras, thus only needing one app to view all my cameras. Unforuntaely, Tapo doesn't seem to be getting on with actually releaseing any wired doorbell cameras, but there *is* a Kasa-branded one, and this brings me to my question: Is there a reason to wait for Tapo to release a Tapo-branded wired doorbell or is the Kasa-branded KD110 a rational and reasonable alternative?
I don't actually know what the downsides of using Kasa-branded devices with the Tapo app is versus using Tapo-branded devices with the Tapo app, if any. Am I better off waiting umpteen months for Tapo to decide to release a wired doorbell? Or will there be no functional difference to just getting the Kasa-branded device and hooking it up to the Tapo app?
Thanks in advance!

CES is a Global Event, any Products Announced and marked "Coming Soon" are not guaranteed to be released in the United States or other countries, and specifications may differ from the final product.
While conducting a Google search may reveal upcoming models, the actual sales plans differ by country and region, and we cannot provide exact information. To determine the availability of a device, please visit TP-Link official website of your country. Such as https://www.tp-link.com/us/ or https://www.tp-link.com/uk/. If a new model is not listed for your region, it indicates that the product has not been scheduled for release in that area at this time.
The current functions supported by Kasa doorbell KD110 and its integration with automation are available in the new Tapo app. Different product models may have varying features. If you are looking for specific functions not supported by this product, we recommend considering the purchase of a product that already supports those functions or waiting for upcoming releases.

I don't see a wired doorbell as a product for Tapo on the website at this time. In fact, the Kasa device is now manageable on the Tapo App, so if you need a wired doorbell, the Kasa doorbell KD110 would be a great choice.

@Wayne-TP Hi there, Wayne, thank you for your response!
Please allow me to update you regarding Tapo products on the Tapo website:
Here's the link to the Tapo D100 Smart Video Doorbell Wired: https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/cloud-camera/tapo-d100/
Here's the link to the Tapo D130 Smart Wired Video Doorbell https://www.tp-link.com/pe/home-networking/cloud-camera/tapo-d130/
Here's the link to the Tapo D660 Smart Video Doorbell Dual https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/cloud-camera/tapo-d660/
These units are not currently available for sale, however, the entire IX suite of content is available for these devices if you poke the internet even mildly, though at least a couple of documents went through iteration, so I am assuming everyone is still doing final tweaks for launch.
The questions, of course, are "when is the launch" and "when is availability"? These products were announced at CES 2023. Are we going to be waiting until after CES 2024 to see units on trucks?
More importantly, however, is the question "are there restrictions on automation and integration with the Kasa Doorbell that won't exist for the upcoming wired doorbells". I understand that we can do basic interaction with the Kasa doorbell using the Tapo 3.0 app, but I don't know if we will be able to integrate the doorbell into smart activities the same way we will be able to with Tapo-branded items. For example, will I be able to trigger lights on if a person is detected? Would I be able to trigger a smart plug if motion is detected? Things like that.
Thanks in advance for any insights you can offer!
