Usually I use smart control rules for my KE100 smart thermostats. But sometimes I adjust the temperature manually. With this respect I have two questions:

 

1.Where do see in the Kasa app if the thermostat is currently working in manual or in automatic mode?

 

2. When I set the temperature manually, how/when will the thermostat switch back to its smart control rule?

The App displays the current temperature information only. Any manual temperature adjustments will be reset to automatic control during the next scheduled time interval set by the Smart Control feature.

I have a clock symbol on the thermostat when it is on smart control (2nd from right, next to the wireless symbol). If I change the temperature manually, it will disappear.

Many thanks for your quick response.

 

It would be great if the following features could be seen in a future release of the app.

 

There should be a method to simply switch back to Smart Control after having set the temperature manually. And to see if Smart Control is turned on or off in the app would also be very helpful.
