It would be good to see a Tapo external weather proof motion detection sensor!

EDIT: Added 'motion detection' to make this clearer, it would be nice to be able to mount a movement sensor externally for security and automation etc.

  @HmmmUK I see admin added a tag to my post of 'temperature sensor'.
Just to say I was actually referring to a movement sensor so I could use it for security etc. by mounting if outside smiley

I would say that an outdoor motion sensor is essential to control the lights on gardens and balconies, also for security purpuse. I hope the company thinks about it to be in line with its direct competitors.

An outside sensor that activates cameras would be very useful. The motion detection on 1 of my C420 cameras does not work as well as I would like. The area it covers is to large to pick up motion where I need it too, however another camera would not make sense
