Hello

I have question about Tapo Sub-GHz sensors (like T110, T310) and switches (like S220). How will these devices become compatible with Metter? Do you have plans to release newer sensors/switches hardware or are you planning to release just the new Metter hub and then all Sub-GHz devices will become compatible with Matter standard?

  @Konrad44

Matter bridge function is supported on Tapo H100 V1 with the latest firmware 1.5.4. In this way, by linking Tapo H100 to the Matter controller, users can manage and control H100's sub-devices through the corresponding Matter hub/App despite they don't support Matter.

About the product plans on Matter support, you may keep an eye on TP-Link official website, as well as the product firmware release note.

  @Wayne-TP

Thanks for info! May I ask few additional questions? Some questions are just related, but I don't want to spam in new forum threads.

  1. Does Tapo H200 and Kasa KH200 also support Matter bridge?
  2. Why I can't add S210/S220 switch to KH100? I can add T310, T110, but not S220. Isn't the same Sub-GHz frequency band?
  3. Can I use any single hub (H100 or H200) to connect all my Sub-GHz (like S220, T110 etc) and Kasa K100 thermostats without using additional hub KH100?
