ın this thread everybody is complaining about not being able to change the NETWORK the camera is connected to; to another network, in my case I have the same network with an TP LİNK TL-WA860 RE network extender still can’t see the extender to connect the camera . Any wireless device which needs to connect and reconnect to any network should be able to have a list of available networks and connect to the one with the strongest signal. Why şis this so difficult to comprehend ? I agree with all the complaints: a SMART company with such a SMART camera should be able to search/find and connect to the best wireless network signal. I think you should work on this and solve it with a simple firmware update. I specially chose everything TP-LİNK and TAPO so they can be compatible with eachother. VOW what a mistake I made.

@andrea00 misinformation? I just reset 8 cameras and did it all from the app. Super easy.

As a matter of fact, it was just as easy as changing the WiFi directly in the app would have been - if it were an option.

what a lot of complainers!

@Solla-topee It is totally ridiculous I have to completely reset all my camera's to factory default to be able to change my wifi password. My 8 year old son has revealed the wifi password to others and now I need to change my network wifi password meaning I have to go outside in the cold to climb up to the tapo cams to unscrew the tiny cap on each of the camera's and then reset and re-install them one by one. This is truly a 1990's approach. I'm happy with my tapo cams but if I had know this in advance I would never have bought them. And certainly will not add anything to my setup until this has been resolved.

I bought a TAPO C402 camera and find it is a pain to switch to a different WiFi. Very disappointed.
