Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi all,

I have:

  • TL-SG3428 V2.0 firmware: 2.0.11 Build 20230602
  • TL-SX3008F V1.0 firmware 1.20.0 Build 20231011
  • Both PC have 2 NICs

Basically what I wish to archive is:

  • VLAN for managment
  • VLAN for enddevices
  • Other VLAN

The problem is that I can't recive a DHCP form my router for the VLAN30. Also if I assing a static IP at PC-A or PC-B I can't connect to the internet.

There are no missconfig in router side couse if I delete the trunk between the 2 swithces and I assing only VLAN30 everyting works

Hope some of you could help me,

Thanks in advance

  @xHAWAKx

Same thing to the uplink of the other switch.

Keep the downlink untagged, PVID 30.

  @Clive_A

It seems like that your suggestion does work!

Port 2/3 are for PCA & PCB port 23 is the router port 28 is the uplink to the second switch

For PVID nothing change from my last post

The second switch is configure as below

PC A&B are on port 2-3 the trunk is on port 8

Thank you so much!

Hi @xHAWAKx

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Based on the screenshots you provided now, I assume you are using port 8 as the uplink on 3008F? 28 is the downlink to 3008F?

Forget about the config on the 3008F because it is not related to this setup, what is the screenshot for PVID?

PC A and B are connected to 2 and 3?

What about the other VLANs? Config in untagged/tagged?

Hi,  @Clive_A

basically the trunk is between the port 28 and port 8

PVID of the SG3428 are below.

For the moment I prefer to focus in the VLAN 30 because the problem is here
