Model: KE100 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.8.0

Does anyone else notice these radiator valves are a bit useless with the Tapo Smart Temperature & Humidity Monitor? I have readings up to 2 or 3 degrees hotter than the actual room temps, they turn off heating too quickly and fail to actually control the temps properly. With the remote sensors though they are game changers. TP-Link should really include a remote sensor with each thermostat. What does the temperature correct actually do? It doesn't seem to be a calibration function does it just change the displayed temperature?,

  @Johnpigg

The temperature sensed by the temperature sensor of the KE100 is actually the temperature of the water pipe, there is a difference between real room temperature and the water pipe temperature.

To make the Current Temperature closer to the real room temperature, setting up Temperature Offset should match your preference.

Displayed Current Temperature=Detected Temperature+Offset.

Q15: Why the room temperature (Current Temperature) displayed in the APP can be different from the actual room temperature, and what should I do?

  @Wayne-TP I've read that nonsense before. The water pipe temp is 65⁰c it's clearly not reading that. It's reading the ambient temp of the air in the vicinity of the radiatir which varies wildly dependant on if the radiator is hot or not
