I would love an Tapo app for AppleTV! The alternatives are not so good, and hard to set up.

This would be a killer and make me stay with Tapo cams forever.

Yes please!!! Tapo cameras would be so much more valuable with a tvOS app.

 

Could even use Apple TV as a hub/server for powering extra features on Tapo devices in the same LAN. i.e. Local network control/automations for speed/redundancy. Hub Storage Failover, Push Notifications, iCloud storage etc.

 

Could save a lot of fuss with devices that aren't directly HomeKit capable. Especially cameras...

 

Mix of mobile devices here - Google Home easy to integrate. Using old PC to bridge Tapo Cameras/Lights to Apple Home - could pay for other apps but an official Tapo tvOS app would be a much better user experience.

 

Software and cross-compatibility is the only reason some Apple users avoid Tapo. Not impossible to improve on though.
