TP-link has a big problem
This problem applies to every TP-link product I have. Because of poor internet connectivity I have gone to Starlink. They all recognize Starlink Wi-Fi (6) but when it comes to pairing the "correct" password isn't recognized. Every other smart product I have doesn't have this problem. I notice that in all the other forums, TP-link is blaming the Starlink router. I think not. In not sure if it's hardware or Firmware but TP-link needs to own up and sort it.

If the wireless encryption is set to WPA3 only, change it to WPA2+WPA3 Mixed, or WPA2 only. If it is already on WPA2+WPA3 Mixed, change it to WPA2 for a try.
Can you share a screenshot of the error? Please clarify which (type) device is getting this error. Do all types of devices report the same error?
What's the length and combination of the WiFi password? Any special character in the SSID?

@Wayne-TP Problem fixed but not sure how. Set up a TP-link / Deco X80 mesh gateway bypassing the Starlink router.

What error did you receive?
- Check if the WiFi's wireless encryption is set to WPA3, not every Tapo device supports WPA3.
- If there is only one SSID (dual-band WiFi), try to separate a 2.4GHz WiFi for the smart devices.

@Wayne-TP I have split the 5 & 2.4 GHz networks. The Starlink WiFi router is supports both WPA2 and WPA3 security protocols. I made sure any VPN's were shut down. The error that comes up after a long wait for attempted pairing is "Check Your Password is Correct". The smart bulbs I have are over five years old and I was wondering if they were no longer getting firmware updates so today I bought two new Tapo L530B bulbs. No joy.
