Implemented Tapo P110M update for Matter 1.3

With the new matter 1.3 support being released containing support for energy monitoring devices like the P110M, when will we see the firmware update support for the new matter standard? I assume that it is planned.
The current matter firmware for the P110M doesn't account for the new 1.3 standard. The P110M being advertised as both an energy monitoring device and matter compatible, there's a huge gap here at the moment because without the new matter standard update; the P110M is just a smart relay.

@AndyL069 the P110m is also 10A according to this: P110m Specifications
I wouldn't have thought you could pull 16A through a standard AU GPO.
Or not using the AU version?

@Cammm 10A is unfortunately not enough, which is why I went with the TP Link in the first place (16A)

An update on the meross, installed seamlessly with home assistant through matter, as soon as I updated the firmware on the device and reinterviewed - all the power monitors appeared in matter.
The slim version is smaller than the p110m, and you can easily fit two side by side in standard Australian plugs.
As for durability, it's behind an air fryer for me at the moment, ran at 2000W (8.3A) for 20 minutes and it didn't die. It's rated for 10A.

I have a four of the Meross. Work fine, but don't like the size of them. Can't fit anything in the adjacent outlet.
Hopefully TP-Link get their act together soon
Edit: oh nice, I see they have a smaller one now. The MSS315 AU

Further to my last just reading the home assistant forums and Meross has indeed updated their plugs to support energy reading in matter.

So I've all but given up on TP-Link and returned mine.
looking now for an alternative (as in a product that's not misleading) - has anyone tried the new Meross matter plugs? They look similar form than these.

Still standing by here as well. If it has been released then the progressive roll out is being very slow.
As someone relatively new to this discussion I am not jaded yet and don't have the same sense of desperation that many others seem to have. However, it does seem to be a sad state of affairs that there is just no community liaison in TP-Link's own community threads.
As a company that has decided to support open standards such as Matter, you would think that they would get behind it's adoption. We could be forgiven for thinking that they are having misgivings about this and not prioritising investment in it, or at least always treating Matter support items as 2nd or 3rd level in software roadmap planning. Perhaps they need to restate their intentions of support to prevent users just moving away to other brands.
