can i use tapo c420 as a offline video recorder in a car?
Or do i need internet connection to start it recording?
The Tapo C420's main functions like live streaming, video recording, and motion detection can still work without an internet connection. However, keep in mind that the C420 needs to be paired with the Tapo H200 hub, which requires AC power. So unless you plan to keep your car stationary in a location with a power outlet, the C420 cannot record footage without the hub, as that's where the SD card is inserted.
