I think it would be a useful addition to have the Spotlight turn on the doorbell turn on when pressed. The existing status LED is pretty small and easily missed in bright environments.

This would be a visual feedback for the person pressing the doorbell, ensuring they know the press has been registered.

This feature could be especially helpful in noisy environments or for individuals who might not hear the doorbell chime, giving them confirmation that the doorbell has worked.

Would appreciate it if this could be considered in future updates!

The D230's LED indicator is automatically on when the camera is woken up (watching a live stream through the app, pressing the doorbell, motion detection appears), please check to see if your device's LED is not turned on?

Thanks for your reply.

What you're referring to only applies when the light sensor detects insufficient light, e.g. at night. During daylight hours/sufficient ambient light, the LED does not turn on. Let me know if that is not how it is supposed to work.

I'm referring to the status LED (No.7), not spotlight (No.3).

Got it. Apologies for the confusion created in the opening post - my request is for the spotlight to light up on press and not the LED.
