Temperature sensor with separate waterproof sensor

I use T310 sensor all over the place and they are great room sensors, but using them to measure point temperatures is a bit hit and miss (e.g. pipes, water temperatures, motors) The main one I want is water temperature, with a waterproof probe I can put in a tank or pipe with the transponder outside.
It would be really handy if there was a temperature sensor with a separate (wired) probe that could then be placed against or in what we needed to measure based on the S310
