D235 - Google Home Automation - "Doorbell rings" starter action doesn't work
I'm trying to use a Google Home Automation/Routine with my D235 doorbell. (This is an automation within Google Home, NOT an automation in the Tapo App.)
The doorbell can be added to Google Home OK, and the "Doorbell rings" action apears as a starter action that I can choose in my automation. But the starter action never works when the doorbell rings, it doesn't start the automation. If I choose a different Tapo device as the starter action (eg. a socket switched on), my automation works fine, just not from the "Doorbell rings" action.
Does the Tapo integration with Google Home work fully for Tapo doorbells? It doesn't seem to.

@Wayne-TP
Thanks for your post.
Yes, I do receive the Doorbell Rang push notifications from the Tapo app.
It's Tapo's integration with Google Home automations that isn't working, as the "Doorbell Rings" starter actions are not triggered in Google.
I have DMed you with times when the issue was reproduced.
Kind regards.

@Bryza , thanks for your reply, it's always good to know that others are facing the same issue. TP have been looking into the issue, and have today replied to me to say that they're looking into a fix and will try to respond within a week. I will update here when I hear anything from them

@rn41 - Thanks a lot mate; yeah I was happy to know that I wasnt the only one when I thought something wasnt working and looked for answers! So I too have configured "Doorbell Rings" starter action; and that does not do anything.
Good to know a fix is on the way; fingers crossed it works soon.
@Wayne-TP - Thanks for your note; and help with the fix.
Mine is D230 Doorbell. Hardware version 1.20.
Firmware version 1.1.19. Build 20241011.
