Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20240323 rel.70541

I am facing a serious problem in my network which concerns frequent disconnections of my Tapo devices from my router.

First of all, let me mention that I use an Archer AX73 and an RE705x with a OneMesh connection.

My WIFI Setup is two separate networks 2.4GHz & 5Ghz (different name). The problem is centered on the 2.4Ghz network. I am using WPA2-PSK, Channel Width "Auto" & Channel "6".

In this particular network I have +20 Tapo devices connected. Plugs, Bulbs, HUB & CAM all Tapo.

The problem is that I keep getting disconnected from my devices. I realized this problem from the Tapo app as I kept losing my devices, they would appear gray.
From Tether, when this happens, I see the last connection as "Just Now".

Only these devices (Tapo) have this problem. Those with LAN are fine, also iPads, iPhones are without disconnections from the router.

Any ideas?

Hi@gsakkas,

Do you have other non-tapo 2.4G devices? If yes, can they be connected to the router's 2.4G band normally and stably?

1. Please turn off some tapo devices and compare whether the remaining tapo devices can work stably?

2. Please try to turn on the 2.4Ghz of the guest network and connect tapo devices, such as switches and plugs that are easy to reset and reconfigure. Please compare whether the tapo devices under the guest network can work stably?
