Hello I've purchased this doorbell DS230S1.

It works correctly when the privacy mode is disabled.

But when I put on the privacy mode to save battery (I don't need motion detection, just the ring button), if someone rings the bell, I don't receive any notification, only the hub is ringing.

Is there a way to fix that or only privacy off is able to send notifications ?

The doorbell can't do anything when in privacy mode. Since you don't need the motion detection feature, it is recommended to set the doorbell to wake up only when "Doorbell Pressed." This way, when no one is ringing the doorbell or viewing the camera live stream through Tapo app, the doorbell will remain in a sleep state to save power.

How to adjust Tapo doorbell's wake-up type: enter doorbell's device page in the Tapo app > Device Settings > Detection > Wake-up Settings. Two options are available: Event Detected and Doorbell Pressed.
