Hello everyone,

 

I have quite a number of tp link items (think routers, IoTs) and sadly the first item I have bought it EU does not work with UK versions (although stated it will)

 

How to trust the products anymore?

Tapo SubG devices in EU and UK versions can be pair together. Do you have multiple S200B fail to pair with the H100 hub? Were they purchased from the same source? If there is only one button, it's more likely a configuration issue rather than a compatibility problem.

Both method 1 and 2 does not work and I have tried multiple times

Method 1: Using the Tapo app - nothing added even with top right corner adding S200B or going into the hub and adding child device.

 

Method 2: Using the SYNC button

Resetting the s200b multiple times and even starting the sync mode for H100 before and after and exactly what what mentioned, does not work.

 

I have bought my s200b from your official Amazon store, this is the only item that is not working.

Did the LED indicator on the H100 hub and S200B flash during the configuration? What's the version of your Tapo app? Make sure it is updated.

Both flashing, and my H100 has only 6 items (excluding this troublesome S200B), so it is no issue.

My H100 is definitely up to date. I cannot update the S200B without connecting :)
