Hi folks

 

Just took delivery of the D235 Smart Video doorbell,from Amazon.

 

Which  isn't very smart,

 

When I first setup the doorbell ,it detected movement just the once then totally refuses to do it again no matter what i set it to detect.

 

The LED light is supposed to light up when it detects movement but it stays stubbornly off, tried resetting it and setting it up again mutiple times it is still the same result every time,works once then  gives up the  ghost.

 

Contacted Aamazon customer suppport who are sendng me out a new one in a few  days.

 

Been reading the forums and I noticed that there was the same problem for the C425 I think ,until they upgraded to a new  firmware.

 

Get my replacement  Doorbell On Friday the 3rd Jan 2025 so hopefully the new one won't have the same issues!
