Help Needed - Am I being stupid? Auto response on D230 doorbell seems not to be working

I have just recieved my doorbell the last few days and cannot seem to get the auto response to work as I think it should.
I have set it to 1 or 5 seconds but the auto response does not happen once the doorbell is pressed.
I have tried also setting it to ring call, notifications and no notifications in case that made a difference.
I am not sure of the hardware version or where to find it.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks Wayne, I disabled the announcements on my Echos and the Auto Response now works. It was driving me mad. A pity they don't work together. My old Ring Doorbell worked on both fine.

Check doorbell's speaker volume: on the liveview page, tap the "Call" or "Talk" feature, click the settings button on the pop-up feature card, then increase the doorbell's speaker volume.
Change a different spoken language, check if the auto-response works. Then, switch back to the needed language and test it again.

Hi, I have the same problem. Volumes are at the max and I've tried the suggestion of changing languages but still no joy. Did you have any luck fixing yours? Thank you

What Tapo doorbell do you use? Check its hardware and firmware version.
What's the response time you set?

Enable the Diagnostics mode on your doorbell, reproduce the problem then export a log for further analysis. How to get the log of Tapo Camera
