Hello! I want to buy, NVR Dahua NVR4108HS-4KS3. 1. is this nvr compatible with tapo 520ws? 2. is it ok to make "communication" between cameras and vnr, with the help of a TP-Link ARCHER C50? 3. in the situation where the storage is done on dvr, is the tapo application functional? I am interested in the notification part.... Any advice is welcome! Thank you!

Tapo C520WS supports the RTSP and ONVIF protocol, so it can connect to the NVR that also supports RTSP/ONVIF. To establish the connection, camera and the NVR should be on the same network. Check here to learn more. How to view Tapo camera on PC/NAS/NVR through RTSP/Onvif Protocol
RTSP/ONVIF connection will not also the camera function in the Tapo app, you can still watch the camera, receive detection notification, adjust camera settings in the Tapo app.

Recomandarea ta, a fost parcursa de mine, inainte de a lansa ”provocarea” postata.... De ce trebuie sa ne blocam, doar intr-o anumita directie, fara sa cautam alternative?! Am citit depre nvr vigi, care se pare ca este recomandarea tuturor, dar tot ”sapand” am vazut ca meniul acestui nvr, este destul de rigid! Dahua, imi este mult mai familiar, dar nu imi permit sa experimentez...

What do you mean? Any device or software that supports the RTSP/ONVIF protocol can be used together with a camera that supports the same protocol.
