Model: TC82 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.23
Hi everyone, I ask to the community if an object (car or person) passing outside the area to be checked can affect the battery discharge time.
In photo 1 you see the area to be checked and in photo 2 you see a car passing outside the area to be checked but which is still identified.
In photo 2 the car does not generate a notification on the app (but I suspect that it affects battery life..... at least that's what you can read in photo 2)

The movement within camera's field of view will trigger PIR sensor and then wake up the camera, but only the set detection type will be recorded. Waking up the camera also consumes battery power. So for a battery-powered camera, it is not recommended to use it to monitor areas with frequent activities. Even if you set it to record only a certain type of activity, the activities in the camera's field of view will still frequently wake up the camera, accelerating power consumption.

The detection tag applies to the whole area, but only the movement within the activity zone will be detected and recorded.
