Model: Tapo T110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.9.0

I get an unwanted notification each day around midday telling me that a T110 sensor "has been added". For a while it was one sensor. But I recently added another two to the house, and it's the most recent sensor again that I get notified about daily. Some kind of bug I think. The signal and interference level is not an issue.

The notification is from the Google Home app, instead of the Kasa app. You may check if the sensor has been configured properly in the Google Home app.

Have you tried to delete and reinstall the app? Please share a screenshot of that notification here.

What's the version of the Tapo app? What's the model and Android/iOS version of your phone?

Do you have Tapo app on another mobile device? Does this occur on other mobile devices?

Yes. This is a new phone. Pixel 8 with latest android. But it also used to happen on my older OnePlus Nord CE light on android 13. So fresh install made no difference.

Latest version of TP Link and Kasa Apps. Using the h200 and Kasa hub combined. All the latest UK updates and firmware. Previously, it would happen with the back door sensor and I assumed it was because the signal was weak and it was reconnecting each time. But now I think it just affects whatever is the last t110 added to the network.

App: 3.9.208.

But as I said, it's been happening for a while across different phones and versions.
