I'd just like to drop some pointers about my experience with this device.

It is a great device, lots of settings, best in it's price-class i think.

What i am really missing on this, in the Video Record Detection settings, is a Distance.

The only setting available for Motion Detection is sensitivity, and you can select a region, neither which is useful in my case.

I live in an apartment building, can only mount my doorbell right next to the door, which means it looks into the hallway.

Any movement throws me a notification of motion, with the current settings i am unable to minimize it's recordings.

As the region it needs to take into account is a high traffic area, that feature is useless.

Pulling down the motion detection sensitivity still makes a recording but waits for a bit more movement (still records everything)

I would really like to be able to have a distance setting.. So i can set that anything within 1 meter of the bell triggers the motion detection.

Audio isn't great btw, perhaps different on a porch than in a hallway, but it's hard to talk with who-ever presses my doorbell.

Needs a better mic, and distance detection.

Great battery life, some (known) issues with connecting it to Home Assistant though, hopefully fixed in future firmware.
